Have you seen the previews for all of the "Snow White" inspired movies coming out!?! Oh what a classic fairytale...one of our favorites! We are sure there will be lots of Snow White inspired parties popping up, and we can't wait to see them! {We are kind of obsessing over all of the stunning French baking blogs we have been coming across} We found this blog post by Carnets Parisiens on how to make these gorgeous candied apples! They are so pretty, we just love the dramatic red of the apples, the red and white twine wrapped around actual branches and the paper hearts, all of these fit perfectly into the details of the fairytale! These candied apples would make a lovely addition to a Snow White inspired party, don't you agree!

Mini French Macaron Cupcake Toppers

You may know by now our love for French Macarons and of course our love for cupcakes! So we decided to combine the two in mini form! We were making some pink, shimmery macarons for a very special party tomorrow! We had a little bit of batter left and thought it would be so cute to pipe out some mini macarons just to see how the turned out! Well, we have to admit, they were too cute! So we popped them on some mini cupcakes with blue buttercream frosting and here is the result! How dainty would these look all lined up on a sweet table!?!

La fête d'azur...A Blue Celebration with an Ocean Twist

We absolutely adore Mandy from A La Parisienne! You may remember when we featured her and her shop here. Mandy created the sweetest party for her darling little girl, Amelia! Mandy modeled Amelia's party colors palette after Rachel Ashwell's Turquoise Party Theme in her book, Sumptuous Settings and Other Lovely Things. The party was given an ocean twist and filled with fanciful sea creatures. We just love the incredibly creative paint swatch invitations!

How adorable is little miss Amelia in her satin aqua blue bubble dress made by Mandy's mom! Mandy also created an aqua blue fascinator to pin on the dress fashioned with an aqua feather, turquoise dotted chiffon and topped with a vintage aqua millinery flower...so beautiful!
The shades of blue with the white are so lovely. We love the way the balloons look hanging from the white net canopy!
The vintage aqua sheet and the crepe paper 3 hanging in the vintage white frame create such a beautiful focal point for the food table! Mandy also made a garland with sea creatures and labeled each one in French!

Mandy made flowers with died coffee filters that she bundled into little florettes. These florettes were nestled into a basket lined in rich teal tissue paper.

The centerpiece on Amelia's sweet little birthday table was made with a vintage aqua planter, sand, seashells, sand dollars, and a sweet box covered in French script paper created by Noel from Fanciful Designs!
A vintage trunk held Amelia's birthday gifts!
A homemade birthday cake was made and decorated with pale aqua icing and white chocolate sea creatures!

Easter giveaway and gorgeous French wedding inspiration

Easter Giveaway Hope you had a great weekend! We wanted to announce the winner of our Easter giveaway. We combined the entries from our blog and facebook page and choose a winner at random. The winner of either a set of bunny note cards or petite invites is Collen...who said, "Colleen said her favorite treat to find in her Easter basket is... "little tiny jelly beans. They never taste as good during the year as at Easter time. And just when you think you have eaten them all...you discover some beneath the Easter grass. Serendipity!!" Great answer Colleen, we have to say we totally agree!

Gorgeous French Wedding Inspiration We saw this beautiful French wedding photo shoot on Style Me Pretty and just knew we had to share it! First of all the photography was done by the fabulous Millie Holloman, who photographed this wedding and some our frosted photos! We just fell in love with the romance and true French feel of this photo shoot! The photos pretty much speak for themselves....wouldn't you agree!?!

Parisian Bridal Shower

My sweet and beautiful cousin is getting married this May and she is having a "Rustic Paris" themed wedding! We are so excited to be attending her big day in New Jersey, where I am originally from. Dana's darling bridesmaids contacted us to help create the paper goods for Dana's Parisian bridal shower last month. We knew right away that our "Sweet Parisian Bride" illustration would be perfect for the shower. We created the invitations, cupcake flags, food tent cards and cirlce tags and two letter garlands for the shower. Although, we were not able to be there to help style or create the sweet table we have to say Dana's bridesmaids did an amazing job, they put everything together perfectly! They even created a je'taime glittered garland to put on Dana's gift, a DIY project from our blog! They are so sweet and Dana is going to have one lovely bridal party! Just look at those gorgeous girls!
