Celebri-Tea Event

Heather, from Simply Inviting Weddings, contacted us a couple of months ago about creating a "Celebri-Tea" letter garland for an event that she was designing for wedding and event professionals to attend to learn about attracting celebrity clients. It was an opportunity for them to network and have a panel discussion on celebrity weddings. Heather created such a beautiful event with one of our favorite color palettes; yellow and grey! We were really excited to be a little part of such a lovely event, hope you enjoy the beautiful photos. Photography by Person+Killian

Parisian Bridal Shower

My sweet and beautiful cousin is getting married this May and she is having a "Rustic Paris" themed wedding! We are so excited to be attending her big day in New Jersey, where I am originally from. Dana's darling bridesmaids contacted us to help create the paper goods for Dana's Parisian bridal shower last month. We knew right away that our "Sweet Parisian Bride" illustration would be perfect for the shower. We created the invitations, cupcake flags, food tent cards and cirlce tags and two letter garlands for the shower. Although, we were not able to be there to help style or create the sweet table we have to say Dana's bridesmaids did an amazing job, they put everything together perfectly! They even created a je'taime glittered garland to put on Dana's gift, a DIY project from our blog! They are so sweet and Dana is going to have one lovely bridal party! Just look at those gorgeous girls!

Gelato Themed Bridal Shower

So today on one of our favorite blogs...Ruffled...we spotted this amazing gelato themed bridal shower, that was just to perfect not to share! The photos were taken by super talented, Edyta Szyszlo. This is truly a perfect theme for a spring shower or party! You know us, we love a good handmade/DIY project and this shoot was filled with handmade tissue flowers, tissue flower corsages and an adorable DIY photobooth! The color palette is so soft and romantic, yet playful and vintage and is perfect for this theme. The whole shoot has a European cafe flair to it and we can imagine ourselves right in the middle of it all. The models even wore "custom tailored frocks influenced by Parisian and Italian throwback styles with a hip twist". There is just nothing to not love about this...we knew you would agree! Sweet Chicks

Kellie and I are planning a little Easter play date for our little girls with some of their sweet friends! Well, what Easter play date would be complete with out an Easter egg hunt!?! We want each girl to be able to find one really special egg with something really "sweet" inside. So we created one sweet little chick egg for each little girl to find. We made these with our little ones today and they had such a blast making them. It is such an easy project and the little ones get such a kick out of all the different animals they can create with the simple supplies!

All you need is little plastic eggs, feathers (that can be found at any craft store), mini googly eyes, a little piece of felt and if you want to add it a little fabric flower. Just hot glue the eyes where you want them to go, cut two little triangles out of felt and glue them on as a beak. Glue one feather on either side of the back of the egg to create wings, making sure you don't glue over the crack of the egg so it can still be opened. Cut a little heart shape out of the pink felt to create little feet and glue them on under the egg and then glue a little flower to the side of the head and you have one sweet chick!

Peggy Porschen

Ok is there anything about Peggy Porschen that is not to absolutely adore!?! Peggy creates the most exquisite cakes and confections...they are true works of art. Her store front in London is so alluring! How could you walk past this beautiful building without being drawn immediately in! Her work is so romantic, elegant and feminine! We are just smitten with her talent and eye for detail, color and design and who would not want to spend all day in that gorgeous shop admiring her stunning work!

Doily Baskets

With spring approaching there are so many sweet little projects we would love to work on! We just adore these little doily baskets. They would be perfect for holding Easter treats or even for putting on a sweet table to hold candy! Hmmmm....I think we are going to have to make these for an upcoming party...we will let you know how it goes! Happy April!
