"99 Sweet Years..."

We recently had the honor of helping my husband's grandmother, Nan, celebrate her 99th birthday! She is an amazing, strong, loving, wonderful woman! The family wanted to do something really memorable for her, so they threw her a lovely little birthday party! All of her friends and family were there to celebrate with her, she was so delighted and overjoyed with it all! Kellie and I created a small dessert table of treats for everyone to enjoy, but we wanted it to have a really special element to it. We took photos of Nan from when she younger and created frosted photo cupcake flags from them, they were so much fun to look at and such a conversation piece for all of her kids and grand kids! We also made her a "99 Sweet Years" letter garland that hung above the table (and now hangs in her room) and surrounded it with all crepe paper flowers. We are so thrilled to have a story about this party in My 365 Magazines, second issue...we hope you will check it out!
