A Little Man Is On His Way Baby Shower

This past weekend we had such an amazing time having a baby shower for one of my best friends, Tina! It was so much fun...it was a laid back, lazy Sunday afternoon dessert and coffee shower. It is really funny, but I do not have one girlfriend with a boy, so it was so much fun having a baby shower for a boy! Kellie came up with the idea of "A little man is on his way!" I loved it! We created all of the paper goods a couple of months ago and used them to compliment the shower. We used a smoky blue, champagne and chocolate brown color palette. We made, cupcakes with chocolate mustaches on top, chocolate covered marshmallows, chocolate licorice, brownie pops with shimmered chocolate jewels, scotcheroos, French macarons and mini cupcakes for the dessert table! We also made rosette lollipops for either side of the table, and hung a big champagne colored satin ribbon from the mirror above the table. And of course had a letter garland that read, "A Little Man Is On His Way".

We also set up a drink station with a “café” letter garland. We found the cutest "little man" jammies and hung them from a satin ribbon above the drink table. We served all different kinds of flavored hot coffees and teas and cold sodas and punch.

We also created blank note cards with the glittered “little man” illustration on them for all of the guests to leave Tina some sweet words of advice. Then all of the guests put a pearl onto a string and we created a labor bracelet for her. So that when she went into labor she could bring her bracelet with her to the hospital and know that we are all there with her supporting her and thinking of her! We got a special baby book and tucked all of her notes into it so she could read them whenever she wanted!

And of course the momma to be had to have her own special chair!
Here is the momma to be...isnt't she GORGOEUS!

P.S. Little Man is available here!
We are also really excied to announce that we worked with a fabulous new photographer....which you will be hearing a lot more about! She is good friend of mine, Meredith Price of Bloom (Photography by Meredith Price). She did such a great job and we are so excited for her new business!!

? Everything is laid out so well, I am sure they were just fine. Thanks for posting!

I love this! I am planning my sister's baby shower and I was wondering what did you put inside the frame for the Labor Bracelet?? I have googled and googled and could not find anything. I would love to do this for my sister's shower. Thanks!
