Stella and Dot Party!

So, this past Friday we had so much fun with one of our sweetest friends, Courtney! She came in from California for the weekend, she is an amazing stylist, Stella and Dot consultant and total fashionista...so we of course HAD to have a party!!! We really did have so much fun with this one! We knew we wanted it to be a chic and elegant just like Stella and Dot jewelry. We choose a color palette of silver, champagne, black and blush pink! We have been crushing on all of those gorgeous ribbon backdrops, so we decided to try one. We wanted to put a little "Icing Designs" twist on it though, so we created mini Stella and Dot "frosted photo tags" and strung them through the ribbons. The jewelry was so perfect to glitter, and the tags turned out so pretty!

We covered the table with a black table cloth and used silver and mercury glass pedestals and apothecary jars to display all of the desserts. We used a tall mercury glass candle holder with a silver jeweled mini chandelier on top as our centerpiece. Silver glittered tags and pink ribbons presented the names of all of the sweets. We made three different kinds of cupcakes; cookies and cream, banana and turtle filled with caramel. We bought truffles and blush pink malt balls and made white chocolate covered marshmallows with silver chunky silver sprinkles to fill the apothecary jars with. We also made mini shortbread cookies with mini chocolate pink gems that we shimmered with luster dust to go on top of them to create a jeweled look.

We also set up a mini drink station. We used champagne glasses with grey and white striped straws and silver rimmed wine glasses. We made a mini letter garland that said "drinks" to put across the silver cooler filled with champagne, nectars and wines. We also made a mini garland to put across the table with a black twisted ribbon and our DIY tissue paper rosettes.

Now for the Stella and Dot jewelry! We wanted to set everything up to compliment the dessert table but we also wanted to show the jewelry like it was displayed in a shop! So we used cake pedestals and apothecary jars to display the jewelry on and we set most of it up in a china cabinet with open doors. The back of the china cabinet was lined with mirrors so everyone could try on the jewelry and see themselves with it on in the mirrors. Even the Eiffel Tower got a necklace! We set the rest of it up around the house on different tables.

We had so much fun Friday...we hope you all do check out Stella and Dot...the company, the consultants (especially Courtney) and the jewelry are all amazing!!!

P.S. A Special thank you to Amy Atlas for featuring this party!
