We were thrilled to have our "fairies fairies everywhere" party featured on Amy Atlas today! We are also really excited to share some more details of the party here with you! This was a really special party for us to create because it was for a very dear friend of ours, with two little birthday fairies...Stella and Evelyn.
We set the tone for the party with our "sweet little cupcake fairy" invitations. The party was for 12 little girls so we wanted the sweet table to be simple but still have a magical and enchanting feel to it! Our sweet friend and DIY correspondent, Katie made two gorgeous over sized paper flowers to hang from the ceiling. We then draped pink tulle from them and placed little hand-cut butterflies in various spots on it. We took whimsical branches that we found at a craft store and spray glittered them and put them in a pot as a centerpiece, from the branches we hung more of the hand-cut butterflies.
What fairy party would be complete without “fairy dust” so we surrounded with tree with little fairy dust pots for the little fairies to take. We worked with the momma of the birthday girls (who happens to be an amazing baker and decorator) to fill the sweet table with rice krispie treats dipped and drizzled in pink chocolate and cake pops dipped in pink chocolate and sprinkled with white non-perils complete with mini fairy wings on the sticks that we placed on either side of the tree! We also made mini cupcakes with pink roses piped on top and pink ruffle cookies that we displayed on a three-tiered pedestal. One the other side of the table we filled an apothecary jar with mini “fairy ribbon rings”. Across the front of the table we made a “birthday fairies” letter garland that was held up by little glittery butterflies. The little ones were also treated to fairy wings, that sparkled and were tied on with pretty satin ribbon!
As a craft the girls made super cute tulle butterfly magnets and decorated them with sparkly gems! After lunch and sweets we took them outside, they looked so sweet running around the yard with their fairy wings and rings and getting “fairy dusted” by the beautiful queen fairy, Annabella (Kellie's sweet oldest daughter)! The girls had so much fun and we are pretty sure they all really believed they were real fairies!

So beautiful! Congrats on the feature! Do you have DIYs for the flowers and the butterflies? Also, was it just buttercream icing that you put on the cookies? They look delish!
This is the prettiest party ever! I love it. Currently looking for ideas for my little girl, but I don't think I could manage such a fancy affair. Lovely.
