Sweet Thanksgiving DIY

We love creating DIY projects and sharing our ideas with you! We wanted to create something unique for your Thanksgiving dinner table this year. We truly have so much to be thankful for and have been beyond blessed in so many areas of our lives. Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time to share what you are thankful for and to let friends and family know how much they are appreciated and loved. If you saw our last post, you may have noticed our place setting with an empty cupcake topper placed inside of the the napkin. We thought it would be so sweet to have each guest write what they are thankful for on the cupcake topper, before they ate. Then each guest would place the topper into a "Give Thanks" cake. It would be wonderful to watch the cake as it becomes full of everyone's blessings. As the cake is served for dessert each person would have one cupcake topper in their piece of cake with someone's special blessing written on it. This would be a really special tradition to start and see how your blessings multiply each year.

       

Thanksgiving Place Setting Cards

There are so many beautiful color combinations that make autumn so lovely. We choose to use brown, champagne, rusty orange and teal to create a feeling of warmth for our Thanksgiving place settings. Our seating cards feature a rusty orange, hand-glittered name with a strip of brown lace across the top. Our festive cupcake toppers are a coordinating orange with a teal crepe paper backing. The place setting cards and cupcake toppers are both available in our Etsy shop. You may notice a blank cupcake topper tucked into our napkin on our place setting, we will share more about that with you tomorrow!
