What's in your 'Party Box' with Fellow Fellow

Don't you love when you come across a blog you could just spend hours looking at!?! Well, Fellow Fellow has been one of those blogs for us! Its fresh and always exciting! We came across Claire's blog a while ago and just loved all of her posts. Fellow Fellow is a DIY and lifestyle blog. Claire writes her blog from her studio in Singapore...amazing, right!?! She shares all sort of beautiful and inspiring things with her readers, from step by step tutorials, freebies, lovely photography and new shops and products that she has come across. Some of our favorite posts are her 'three for free' where she finds three fabulous products that are free, yes please and 'five under ten' featuring five great products that are all under ten dollars. And, as you know we are always suckers for DIYs and Claire's tutorials are always fun, creative and beautifully photographed! We are so excited to have Claire with us today, sharing what her picks are for creating a fantastic party!

Tassel garlands are fantastic for parties, and a great way to get started on a color scheme. This one is especially pretty with it's shades of purple and hint of metallic bronze!

These cute straws will always come in handy, and bring a bit of color and fun at the same time!

Paper poms are a great way to add more color to just about any occasion! Hang them over a dessert table, the dining table, or even on the backs of chairs.

These sequins would be perfect sprinkled down the middle of the table.

These tags could be used a few ways - how about using some colorful twine to tie the tags to favor bags, or set them on plates as place tags, or even use them as food labels!

What's in your 'Party Box' with Icing Designs

Hello friends! We are excited to share with you yet another new series with you this week! We are a little bit giddy about this one because we are going to be working some amazing people! We are asking our favorite bloggers and friends, "What's in your party box?" What party props, desserts, color palettes and other party goods are inspiring them right now! We are so excited about our first guest bloggers, we can hardly wait to share them with you. But, Kellie and I thought we would take the first one on and show everyone what is in our party box right now! We are in love with the classic color combination lovely blush pink and glimmering gold! The combination is elegant, sophisticated and feminine and metallics always add 'a little sparkle to you party'! With bridal shower season quickly approaching us we thought that our "Cupcake Couture" collection in pink and gold would pair perfectly with all of our party picks!

Who is not obsessed with confetti systems!?! These pink and gold pinatas
are sure to bring tons of 'fun' to your party or shower!
Glittery gold and pink spoons are so fabulous. Leave these at a coffee station for guests to
stir in their cream and sugar!
Oh my, this gold cake stand, a pretty pink and gold cake would look gorgeous on this!
Gold glittered vases with pink peonies are perfect centerpieces and take home favors all in one!
Edible gold glitter and pink shimmery sprinkles will top your cupcakes in style!
This hand-dyed crepe paper fringe garland dusted in gold glitter would look amazing
across the front of a dessert table, or anywhere really!

Cake or Cupcakes for Valentine's Night !?!
Cake. The bigger the better, and the icing-to-cake ratio is far superior!

Was the best Valentine's Day gift you ever got homemade or store bought!?!
Every year my mom sends me a big ol’ box of Valentine goodies and craft supplies (Do you see where I get it from!?) and I always look forward to seeing what little surprises she’s tucked in there!

Favorite Valentine's Day color combination?
Gold, gold and more gold. This year I’ve been pairing it with hot pink or mint and peach! I can’t stick to just one!

What language do you think LOVE sounds most beautiful in!?!
So should I go out on a limb here and say... French? Cliché as it as, we all know it’s true!

Favorite Valentine's Day DIY!?!
For a Valentine’s Day shoot this year I made a giant (Giant!) gold mylar heart piñata, and it’s one of my favorite things I’ve ever made! I’m working on convincing my boyfriend, Jeff, to let us hang it permanently in our house and I’m happy to report I’ve made significant progress.

Favorite romantic movie?
The Holiday! I could watch that movie all day, every day and can quote the entire thing to prove it!

Favorite chocolate?
I’m going to go with anything covered in chocolate. Trader Joe’s has quite the selection. Chocolate covered s’mores? Well, I don’t mind if I do.

Favorite flowers?
.Without a doubt, peonies. I fully intend to plan my wedding some day around when they’re in season. I love them that much.
Anything special your hoping to get this Valentine's Day?
Jeff and I (surprisingly) keep Valentine’s Day pretty low key, though I did put in a few hints for one of these fringey heart kites! Yes, I’m totally serious. I’m actually a five year old stuck in a twenty-something’s body!

Favorite Valentine's related pin on pinterest?
I’m loving these date night valentine arrows from my girl Ashley at Sugar & Cloth! It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Thank you SO much Kelly!! Happy Valentine's Day!!
xoxo ♥
