silver.black.&.white wedding

Over the summer, Kellie's little sister married her sweetheart! They are very young and hopelessly in love! They are both such sweet souls and Kellie and I had the best time helping with their wedding! Let me tell you, Kellie is one organized momma and impressed me so much with her wedding planning skills! The color scheme of the wedding was perfect for their young age, black, white and silver! We had a great time making all the sweets and setting up their dessert table for their small, intimate reception. I also had the honor of photographing their wedding! Audrey and Allen were so playful and easy going, they were so much fun to work with! We wanted to give you a little peek into their wedding and how we were able to help them on a small budget!

With Audrey and Allen being only 20 we wanted to give them something a little sparkly, sassy and playful but still pretty enough for their wedding. We also wanted to make sure it complimented their style. So we started with a silver, glittery backdrop...which was a large sheet of paper that we found at the Paper Source, and across that we strung vintage French doilies. All silver and mercury glass pedestals were used to display the desserts. We made a little ruffle cake with a festive A&A cake topper and strung a 'Audrey and Allen' letter garland across the front of the table.

We also created a 'cards' mini letter garland and placed inside of a vintage suitcase that Kellie found. This worked out perfectly, because all of the cards were securely inside and we were also able to pack up all of their other paper goods inside the suitcase for them to take home as keepsakes.

A wishing tree was set up as well. Were guests could write sweet messages to the new bride and groom. The cards were then hung on the tree for Audrey and Allen to read and enjoy after the wedding.

And of course a little candy station was set up for guests to bring home some sweets!

This was my favorite portrait of the bride, Audrey. She is such a sweet girl! We just loved the rustic, little white chapel they got married in! It made for a great backdrop for some of their photos!
