We just love autumn...the crisp, chilly air, the colorful leaves swirling around on the ground and of course all of the comfort foods that keep our bellies full! And what is autumn, without pumpkins!?! It is is so much fun taking the kids to pumpkin farm and seeing their eyes light up as they get to pick out their very own pumpkins. Of course it is great to carve silly faces on them and roast the seeds! But, as girls who incorporate glitter into their daily lives, we have to say we are love the look of glittered pumpkins! They are so pretty and perfect for a Halloween or Thanksgiving centerpieces! Did you know they are so easy to make too..maybe even easier than carving them!! All you need to do is coat them with a thin layer of acrylic craft paint or glue and cover them in your favorite glitter!

Ohhhh....I like the second picture. The glitter is so pretty. Canadian Thanksgiving was a couple of weekends ago and I had pumpkin pie for the first time ever....so tasty! It's definitely going to be a Thanksgiving classic for me now!
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty. Going to buy pumpkins and glitter tomorrow.
