Ballet holds a very special place in my heart, it has been a passion of mine for a very long time. Kellie's girls and my girls are all taking ballet now and it is so exciting! Just walking into the studio, hearing the beautiful music, and getting the girls dressed in their little tights and leotards and wrapping their hair up in mini buns brings back so many sweet memories for me. So many beautiful, things have been inspired by the ballet! The look is so romantic, soft and feminine. We just love the flowing ballet wedding dresses, the dressed up ballet flats and the beautiful ballet inspired headpieces. So here is our Ode to Ballet.

ReplyDeleteI agree, those first ballet flats are fabulous! I don't usually like plain ballet flats, but I found a pair that evokes the shape of a pointe shoe with a squared off toe. LOVE them, wear them nearly every day! Those first embellished flats, however, have won me over on the standard shape. Guess I'm just a sucker for sparkle.
