DIY Easter Bunny Jar

We just wanted to share a super easy, Easter DIY with you today! We bought a glass jar with a lid from Hobby Lobby and filled it with mini marshmallows. (Of course you can fill it with whatever you heart desires.) In the dollar bins at Target we picked up a little bunny ears headband and just cut off the "headband" part. We took the ears and hot glued them on to the top of the lid. Then just added a little "cotton tail"...and tied one of our "Easter" tags around the neck with some pink tulle and shear white ribbon! (Our Easter collection will be available soon in our Etsy shop). These would be so cute to have the kiddos make for grandparents for an Easter gift, or even to have as take home gift after a bunny or Easter party!

Well yesterday we posted the winner of our Cupcake Couture Contest and the two runners up! As we said, we were just overwhelmed with all of the awesome entries so we wanted you to be able to see some more of them! We wanted to share the top 10 with you, you saw the top 3 yesterday...so in no particular order here are the top 7! Cupcake Couture Cupcake Contest Winner

First off we want to sincerely thank everyone who entered the "Cupcake Couture Cupcake Contest"! We can not begin to tell you how many amazing entries we received! It was definitely a challenge for us to choose a winner!

We also want to thank you our sweet friends, Jill from Modern Cupcake and Rosie from Sweetapolita for judging this contest with us! They are both such amazing girls and both so talented, we just adore both of them!

So with out further ado the winner of the Layer Cake Shop gift certificate and 12 Cupcake Couture petite invites and 12 coordinating note cards is.....Stephanie Eddy!

We all really not only loved Stephanie's cupcake, which was so unique, but we also loved that she shared her inspiration! Stephanie looked through our posts on how we created our "Cupcake Couture" line and also searched photos of couture and vintage wedding dresses! She even did some sketches, which we loved!

Well....we have to say we had so many amazing entries we had to choose 2 runners up that will each recieve a set of "Cupcake Couture" note cards! They are, Amy the Baker with a gorgeous black and white flower cupcake...and Nicole Lang with a beautiful and very creative couture dress cupcake! Congratulations to both of you as well! Sweet 5th Birthday Party

We just love this sweet party that Catherine Clay of Catherine Clay Photography threw for her darling daughter's 5th birthday! Catherine is so sweet and sent us some photos to share with you! There are so many charming details to swoon over. We just adore the colors, the cake and the gorgeous pennant garland! Catherine even made most of the decorations herself, including personalized aprons and art kits for the kids to bring home! Annabelle, told her momma that it was the best "birthday day" of her life! Isn't that the sweetest!

Beautiful Black Swan Inspired Ballet Shoot

If you follow our blog you know that we have a deep love and appreciation for ballet. When we saw this Black Swan inspired photo shoot on Style Me Pretty, styled by that amazingly talented Jill La Fleur we pretty much fell instantly into a dream world.
