Land of Sweets

We were honored when our sweet friend, Tanya from Save the Date for Cupcakes, asked us to be part of a Sugarplum Fairy Sweet Table that she was designing to benefit Operation Shower! We were over the moon to have the chance to collaborate with Tanya, as she is such a talent, as well as to be part of something to benefit such an amazing cause! Since Tanya was creating a sugarplum fairy theme, our sugarplum fairy illustartion fit the bill perfectly! We created a letter garland that read "Land of Sweets", gift tags and food labels! We adore the crinkly lavender background, it gave such a wintery feel to the table! There were so many special elements that came together to make this table so beautiful; including the sugarplum cookies, the glittered reindeer cupcake toppers and the chocolate ballet shoes in iridescent wands! We can't thank Tanya enough for including us in such a lovely event and hope that you will all take a few minutes to read about Operation Shower, as it is such an wonderful organization!

2010 Icing Designs Party Recap

Wow, this really has been an exciting year for us! We started our blog back in March, so we have not even been blogging for a year yet! We look forward to sharing some innovative and exciting things with you this upcoming year! We are so thankful for your support and we have so much fun reading your comments. We just wanted to share some of our favorite parties that we had the pleasure of working on this past year. Each and every party that we worked on this year was so special to us! We were able to create them all entirely DIY, from the invitations to the desserts!
The very first "Icing Designs" party that we were able to share with you was an ice cream baby shower!

Our next party was a first birthday party with a birdie and cherry blossoms theme!

We created a pink and orange bridal shower in May!

In the same month of May it was my twin daughter`s third birthday, with a Paris in the Springtime theme!

In July we created a baby shower for Kellie`s cousin who was pregnant with a baby girl!

Our next party was really an honor for us to put together. It was a princess tea party for our dear friends Katie and Kevin for their 3 year old daughter, Stella! This party was very dear to us and brought us a lot of joy because we were able to help this amazing family, as Kevin was (and still is) undergoing treatments to fight pancreatic cancer.

We had a really fun dessert table at our Stella and Dot party!

One of our last parties of the year was our a little man is on his way shower!

Our last party was one of our very favorites! A Pink Christmas birthday party for Kellie`s daughter Leela!
